Job summary

Summitbsa is seeking a hands-on staff member to instruct and supervise participants at shooting venues. The role emphasizes safety, accountability for firearms and ammunition, and daily leadership in a camp environment.

Required NRA Rifle/Shotgun instructor certification and USA Archery Level 1, with the ability to work independently, follow a staff handbook, and participate in background screening for Scouting America membership.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, and maintain accountability of firearms and ammunition.
• Deliver firearms, ammunition, and equipment to ranges using a work vehicle.
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by SBR leadership.
• Abide by policies and procedures in the staff handbook.
