Range Safety Officer

The Range in McKinney is a locally owned indoor shooting range. We are seeking a Range Safety Officer to work weekends. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, enjoy working in a retail environment, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and possibly weekdays and holidays. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities include providing safety briefings, assisting with rentals and firearm selections, working shooting events, maintaining compliance with background check procedures, selling merchandise, and ensuring the range's safety and cleanliness. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

All staff will undergo background checks; if you cannot legally purchase a firearm in the US, do not apply. Drug testing and lead level testing are also required.

Qualifications include RSO experience, strong customer service skills, honesty, and a positive attitude. Personal pronouns and political views are not relevant to this role. Punctuality and weekend availability are essential.
