Job summary

Texas Gun Experience LLC is seeking a dedicated Range Safety Officer to join our team in Grapevine. You will enforce range safety, assist members, and teach lane and target operations while maintaining strict compliance with procedures.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years as an RSO, experience with full auto and belt-fed firearms, and a strong customer-service mindset. Must be physically capable of lifting 50–75 lbs and remaining calm in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years operating as a Range Safety Officer; military service accepted in lieu of RSO experience.
  • Experience with full auto and belt-fed firearms.
  • Excellent customer service and de-escalation skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs and stay vigilant for safety.

Responsibilities

  • Strict adherence to the Range Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Evaluate conditions on the range at all times and adjust to maintain safety.
  • Assist members with a smooth and safe firing range experience.
  • Teach customers how to operate lanes and targets.
  • Run full auto machine gun packages ensuring safety and great customer experience.
  • Know and follow emergency response plans.
  • Report daily to the Range Manager any operational issues.
  • Familiar with many firearms and demonstrate clearing stoppages and malfunctions.
  • Oversee overall safe conduct of firing and training.
  • Assist with new shooter orientations as needed (infrequent).
