Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) at Fort Carson is seeking a Range Operations Clerk to oversee range opening, closing, and daily procedures in compliance with installation and federal requirements.

You will instruct patrons on range safety, manage ammunition handling, assist customers with fees, and perform routine maintenance and accountability tasks while ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with firing range operations and firearm safety.
• Work experience involving dealing with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Executes range facility opening, closing, and operating procedures in accordance with installation, local, and federal laws.
• Instructs patrons on range safety practices, and provides general firearm and marksmanship information.
• Ensures proper handling storage, accountability, inventory of ammunition, and vault security.
• Checks inventory and supplies, and requests restock. May perform cashier duties and maintain records of sales.
• Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory, and that customers adhere to safety procedures.
