H2ajobs is seeking a livestock caretaker to work on the range and ranch. The role requires tending to cattle and horses, administering medications, and ensuring animals are fed, watered, and protected from hazards.

Responsibilities include supervising pregnant livestock and newborns, monitoring health, and moving livestock between grazing areas. Living onsite in isolated locations may be required; prior, limited experience is preferred."

Formación

• Experience wanted: 6 months.
• Live and work singly or in small groups of workers in isolated areas for extended periods of time.
• Ride, handle and tend horses to assure safety and health of workers, horses, dogs and livestock.

Responsabilidades

• Attend livestock on the range and ranch by administering medications as needed.
• Care for newborn offspring, pregnant livestock, and monitor for disease or injury.
• Feed, water, and tend to dogs and horses; guard against poisonous plants and predators.
• Move livestock to grazing areas and assist with loading/unloading per shipping schedules.
• Inspect for birthing problems and take appropriate actions; perform routine health checks.
