Job summary

Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• 2 years’ experience with AF/DISA circuit actions and network operations.
• 2 years’ experience communicating complex concepts to leadership.
• 2 years’ experience with online or cloud IT management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities, equipment, and manpower for ACC/Range Operations and Requirements Branch (A3AR).
• Support range staff with cyber-related activities for investment needs and planning.
• Assist in executing range operations per DoD/AF guidance and regulations.
• Revise guidance for range capability operations, maintenance, acquisitions, and cyber integration.
• Develop and brief range capability mission concepts for senior leadership review.
• Coordinate integration of ANG ranges with other AF/DoD ranges.
• Review and summarize range documents; draft MAJCOM responses.
• Coordinate interface requirements for OTTI systems and RMF actions.

Range Capability and Cyber Integration Support

R&K supports Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) Airspace, Ranges, and Airfield Operations Division (A3A) by providing technical, logistical, and operational support to ACC airfields, special use airspace, and ranges. Resources and Budget Division (A3R) provides financial support; fiscal guidance; professional development; civilian manpower; and planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) for the Operations Directorate (A3). International Affairs Security Cooperation (IAS) supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to include foreign military participation in United States hosted exercises.

Title: Range Capability and Cyber Integration Support

Duration: Permanent/Full-Time

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required

Start Date: Upon Approval

Salary Range: Full salary range is $85,000 - $96,900. per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

Duties: Include but are not limited to:

• Monitor current and future facilities, equipment, material, computer/software requirements, and manpower resources to ACC/Range Operations and Requirements Branch (A3AR) for ACC’s cyberspace ranges.
• Support ACC Ranges staff with cyber-related activities in support of investment needs, POM activities, various acquisition activities, requirements development, requirements prioritization, and developmental planning.
• Support ACC Ranges staff with executing assigned range operations capabilities IAW applicable DoD/AF guidance and regulations.
• Support ACC Ranges staff with revising guidance in support of range capability operations, maintenance, acquisitions, and cyber integration.
• Develop and brief range capability mission, concepts, and plans for higher echelon review and/or approval, to include General Officer (GO) and Senior Executive Services (SES) level leadership.
• Support ACC Government personnel in the integration of ACC ranges with other AF and DoD ranges.
• Review, evaluate, and synopsize range-related documents while providing cyber integration expertise. Draft responses to the Government program lead on documents requiring MAJCOM response.
• Coordinate with the Government program lead to manage and prioritize on-going interface requirements to live operational test and training infrastructure systems (OTTI) systems to include Approvals to Operate/Connect (ATO/ATC), Risk Management Framework (RMF) Actions, and reporting and tracking status of systems in database.
• Support circuit actions for the Live Mission Operations Network (LMON) and other networks supporting Live OTI systems.
• Participate in meetings, telecoms, and working groups focused on range capability and cyber integration activities.
• Maintain all applicable certifications required.

Requirements: The candidate shall meet the following qualifications:

• CompTIA Security+ certification or similar recognized certification
• 2 years’ experience with Air Force and DISA processes for circuit actions, network connectivity, work orders, and similar network/communications activities
• 2 years’ experience using strong oral and written communication skills to interpret complex concepts into easily understandable and actionable items for leadership
• 2 years’ experience working with on-line or cloud-based IT enterprise management systems and databases
• TS/SCI security clearance
