Cobbs Creek Golf Club in Philadelphia, PA seeks a part-time Range Attendant to support our golf operations under Troon, a global leader in golf and community management. This seasonal role focuses on maintaining the driving range and assisting the Pro Shop to ensure smooth daily operations.

The successful candidate will have basic golf knowledge, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to work well in fast paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be dependable.
• Regular attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning
• Replaces golf balls and clubs in racks for use by driving range patrons
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ensure the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash cans
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for golf operations
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Cobbs Creek Golf Club, located in Philadelphia, PA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Range Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Summary:

As a key member of the property’s golf operations team, the Range Attendant reports directly to the Golf Course Head Professional or Assistant Golf Professional and attends to the golf cart fleet and driving range.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure the practice range is open and ready for players in the morning

Minimum Qualifications for the Range Attendant:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Possesses basic math skills.

Regular and reliable attendance.
