Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent and verifiable experience with cattle or similar livestock.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must obtain a valid driver's license and clean driving record after hire.
• Willingness to undergo drug testing as part of employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, herd, graze, castrate, brand, catch and load animals.
• Maintain records on animals and monitor health and injuries.
• Assist in birth deliveries and administer medications or vaccines as appropriate.
• Move livestock between locations and repair fences as needed.
• Provide minerals to cattle and keep animal housing clean and sanitary.
