InterDigital is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Wireless Lab as an RAN researcher (Ph.D. completed within the last 5 years or near completion).

The role supports research and development on advanced wireless systems (6G and beyond), creating intellectual property and contributing to standards activities, primarily in 3GPP. The position requires excellent technical expertise, strong communication, and collaboration across global teams, with outreach to the local and international

Qualifications

• Experience in 5G-advanced or 6G wireless research and lab prototyping (PhD preferred).
• Advanced degrees in EE, CS or related; PhD is a plus but strong MSc accepted with equivalent experience.
• Ability to apply AI/ML techniques to communication systems and disseminate results.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with collaboration across teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop advanced terminal technologies in the RAN area.
• Support internal technology development aligned with project objectives.
• Assist in review and approval of project deliverables.
• Represent InterDigital in collaborative project activities and standardization efforts.
