Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Intern – RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) for Summer 2027 in Pittsburgh, PA. You will gain exposure to Safety Engineering and work on real-world RAMS projects under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Engineering student at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
• English proficiency required for technical communication.
• Desire to develop RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support RAMS and V&V activities for project safety analyses.
• Assist with workload and schedule alignment within RAMS team.
• Contribute to risk assessments and documentation preparation.
• Collaborate with RAMS engineers to ensure safety requirements are met.
