Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of transportation activities between the main production site, logistics unit, and airport to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, goods, and services.
- Plan, forecast, schedule, and effectively communicate transportation activities to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations through strong supply chain and ramp logistics management.
- Enforce and uphold ramp safety procedures and compliance with all airport, airline, and company regulations.
- Train employees on ramp safety standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring understanding and adherence across the team.
- Motivate, guide, and supervise team members to foster a strong safety culture and maintain high operational standards.
- Monitor daily operations and intervene promptly to correct any unsafe practices or potential hazards.
- Maintain clear records and reports related to safety audits, incidents, and training.
Qualifications:
- Ability to meet all requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority of NY/NJ) in compliance with TSA regulations (49 CFR §1542.209).
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and outstanding communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Solution-oriented mindset with sound decision-making abilities.
- Valid New York State Driver’s License.
- Hands-on, can-do mentality with a proactive work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
