Job summary

Swissport International in Seattle is seeking Ramp Agents to support ground handling services for passengers and cargo. Responsibilities include marshalling aircraft, unloading baggage and cargo, and delivering items to designated locations as part of under-wing operations.

Applicants must have valid drivers license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in various shifts and in inclement weather.

Qualifications

Ramp experience is a plus or preferred.
Valid driver's license is required.
Good communication skills are expected.
Language skills are needed.
Ability to work in inclement weather is essential.
Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
Excellent Health & Safety awareness is required.
Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
Unload luggage and air cargo onto carts or dollies.
Deliver luggage to claim area and disengage from conveyors.
Provide handling for wheelchairs and strollers as needed.
Operate ground support equipment (tow tractors, belt loaders, loaders, tugs, power units, de-icing units, etc.).
Inspect ramp areas and report equipment malfunctions.
Comply with security requirements and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
