PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Manager to oversee airport ramp operations, ensuring safe, efficient handling of aircraft and ground services on every turn.

You will direct ramp supervisors and staff, allocate resources, and coordinate with airline partners, ATC, and ground handlers to optimize performance while maintaining DOT/FAA safety standards. The role requires strong leadership and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in ramp operations or ground handling, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of airport operations and safety regulations.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to access and interpret information and use electronic devices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

• Prepare reports on ramp operations and DOT compliance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ramp safety and efficiency.

The Ramp Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations on the airport ramp, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely handling of aircraft and ground services. This position involves directing ramp supervisors and staff, managing the allocation of resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. You are also responsible for coordinating with airline representatives, air traffic control, and ground services to facilitate smooth aircraft turnarounds. Additionally, this role requires strategic planning and problem-solving skills to optimize ramp operations and respond effectively to any operational challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ramp operations or ground handling, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• In-depth knowledge of airport operations and safety regulations
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
