Job summary

Jet Aviation Van Nuys is seeking a hands-on Fixed Based Operator technician to fuel, tow, marshal, and support aircraft movements while delivering exceptional service to clients and crews. The role operates in a dynamic, around-the-clock schedule within a luxury-flight environment, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and customer care.

This on-site FBO position offers hourly pay of $21.00–$22.00 plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary, and training lasting several weeks to ramp up

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic English (B1) communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours—rain or shine.
• At least one year of mechanical experience preferred.
• Direct ramp experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Fueling and defueling all types of aircraft daily.
• Provide towing and disconnecting services.
• Use hand signals to guide aircraft during arrivals/departures.
• Operate ground support equipment (GPU, lavatory cart, power, etc.).
• Communicate with crew using radios to ensure excellent service.
• Assist with catering, luggage, and passenger transportation.
• Support aircraft and hangar cleaning and general grounds keeping.
• Perform other duties as needed.
