Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a station loader to coordinate all ground operations at the Memphis facility, ensuring seamless interaction between aircraft loading and unloading activities. You will perform additional duties as assigned and support safety protocols during operations.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate standard ground support equipment, and complete basic training as needed. Strong English communication and adherence to FMCSA guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete basic or recurrent training/testing.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and FMCSA directions.
• Knowledge of FedEx computer systems (FAMIS) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing. Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.

FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
