Job summary

Unifi in Wisconsin is seeking individuals to join our ramp team. The role involves marshalling aircraft, loading and unloading baggage, de-icing, and operating ramp equipment. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You will work in rotating shifts, attending to safety procedures, and supporting cleaning and cabin service tasks as needed. Full‑time status starts at 30 hours per week with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Physical requirements: heavy lifting, pushing/pulling, walking and standing for shifts.
• Rotating shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Marshall all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May be assigned cabin service duties such as servicing the aircraft, cleaning lavatories and cabin, restocking supplies, and other items.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
