Job Description

The Ramp Agent works outdoors to direct planes on the ground, handle cargo/baggage, and ensure smooth ground operations. They are problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with Ground Operations Teams to meet flight schedules.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing friendly service and maintaining positive relationships with Customers and Co-workers.
• Loading, unloading, and servicing aircraft, including baggage, cargo, and mail.
• Handling cargo and baggage records, safeguarding items, and ensuring proper handling.
• Performing aircraft interior cleaning and operating various motorized equipment.
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions and adhering to safety standards.
• Completing paperwork and entering data into the company system.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team and under stress.
• Must complete Ramp Agent training successfully.
• Ability to read, follow instructions, and understand safety procedures.
• Must possess a valid state motor vehicle license and be able to obtain necessary airport badges.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items, climb, bend, and work in cramped spaces.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

Additional Details

• This is a part-time position, typically 32 hours/week.
• Training lasts 4-6 weeks, followed by 6.5-hour shifts, with possible overtime.
• Shift work includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work shift work and overtime.
• Pay rate is $20.03 per hour.
