You Will

• Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate
• Lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags and cargo using bag carts, dollies, and conveyor belts
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs, and more
• Maintain safety and security on the ramp, following all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel and flight crews
• Follow all federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time flight performance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Stand, lift, bend, stoop, walk, crawl, push, and pull for extended periods
• Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly
• Ascend and descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
• Understand and respond to verbal and visual commands and safety warnings, with or without visual aids
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and around jet engines and machinery noise

You Have

• FAA and airport required identification or authorizations
