Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Agent for our Ground Handling team in Omaha. You will handle baggage, service aircraft and operate ramp equipment in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment, reporting to the General Manager.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits including paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and travel on the American Airlines network. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Ramp Agent training course.
• Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for below-the-wing servicing of the aircraft
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• De-ice aircraft
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
