Job summary

Swissport is seeking a dedicated Ramp Agent to support ground handling operations at our Anchorage location. You will marshal aircraft, load/unload baggage and cargo, and service ground equipment on a fast-paced ramp environment.

We offer competitive pay at $18/hr plus health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holidays. Must pass background checks and be able to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have strong command of English (verbal and written).
• Ramp experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg).
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts/dollies.
• Unload and deliver luggage to claim area and conveyor system.
• Operate ground support equipment as directed.
• Inspect ramp areas and report debris or hazards.
• Comply with security requirements and other duties as assigned.
