Job Summary

Ramp Agents provide essential under-wing ground support services as contracted by our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and servicing water and lavatories.

The expected pay rate is $20/hr.

Your Activities

• Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload passenger luggage and air cargo, including bulk and containers/pallets, onto carts or dollies.
• Unload wheelchairs and strollers, delivering them to designated locations.
• Handle special luggage or cargo as required.
• Deliver passenger luggage to the claim area and unload onto conveyor systems.
• Deliver air cargo to the appropriate recipients.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, baggage tugs, water/lavatory service trucks, aircraft ground power units, and more.
• Load mail, live animals, wheelchairs, and strollers onto aircraft.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove as necessary.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Follow all security requirements mandated by authorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

• Previous ramp experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Creole are a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
