Position Overview

As a Ramp Agent you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services and providing the highest level of customer service, keeping passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time.

Job Requirements

• MUST be able to obtain a SIDA airport badge
• MUST pass a pre‑employment drug screen including THC
• Type: Part‑Time
• Flexibility required to accommodate flight modifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Properly and safely load and unload freight, including build up and break down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines
• Hold equipment certifications and operate equipment safely
• Obtain proper security documents for all shipments
• Verify upon receipt from customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions and airworthiness
• Verify upon delivery to customer shipment pieces and airway bill numbers

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
• Must be able to verbally direct in English
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position

Work Environment

• Warehouse – physically strenuous, prolonged periods of standing with exposure to noise, safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment
• Outdoor – prolonged periods of standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles

Physical Demands

• Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times
• Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height
