Job summary

Responsibilities include operating ground support equipment, recording baggage, and ensuring safety compliance. A valid in-state driver’s license and a pre-employment drug screen are required. Local residency is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be a local in-state resident.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs customer aircraft.
• Safeguards customers' baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft and damage.
• Lifts, loads/unloads, sorts and transfers baggage and cargo in and out of aircraft bins or carts.
• Operates pushback equipment with visual coordination with Wing Walkers for safety.
• Records and handles baggage, airfreight, mail and materials as required.
• Transports cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and prepares related records.
• Operates and/or drives equipment such as belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, bag carts, and deicers.
• Completes paperwork and logs in the company information system.
• Performs other duties within skill and experience boundaries.
