Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking a Ramp Agent to support aircraft load/unload operations, baggage handling, and aircraft servicing at the airport. You will guide aircraft, safeguard cargo, and operate equipment such as belt loaders and tugs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, pass background and drug screenings, obtain USPS mail approval, and complete ramp/SIDA training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must obtain USPS approval to handle mail.
• Must be a local in-state resident.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training for airport ID security.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull 70 pounds regularly and 40–50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently.
• Must possess a valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs customer aircraft.
• Safeguards baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
• Lifts, loads/unloads, sorts and transfers baggage and cargo in and out of aircraft bins and carts.
• Operates pushback equipment and stays in contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Records customer baggage, airfreight, mail and company materials as required.
• Transports cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and prepares related records.
• Operates and/or drives motorized equipment (belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, etc.).
• Completes paperwork and enters data into the company system as required.
• Performs other duties within skill and experience levels.
