Job summary

HHS Aviation, LLC (USA) is seeking personnel at Delta Airlines BDL – AVN to support ramp operations and customer service. Pay rate is hourly at 18.25 USD per hour, with shifts based on facility needs in the United States of America.

The role covers baggage handling, cabin preparation, GSE maintenance, and coordination of aircraft movements to ensure efficient turnaround and safety. Candidates must be 18+, pass background checks, and be able to work various shifts with a valid license and English

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and MVR (varies by airport).
• Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for ground handling services including ramp operations, baggage handling, cabin cleaning and GSE maintenance to support airlines.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all rules and regulations.
• Unload and load passenger baggage, cargo, and/or mail from aircraft bins onto bag carts.
• Prepare aircraft cabins between flights, replenish lavatories and galleys supplies, and service lavatories.
• Tow aircraft to remote areas and ensure availability of ground equipment for upcoming flights; guide inbound aircraft to gate ramps and push outbound aircraft from gate area.
• Perform assigned administrative duties (e.g., GSE inspections, FOD walks, cleaning equipment).

Location: Delta Airlines BDL – AVN

Pay Rate: Hourly – 18.25 USD per hour

Work Shift: Based on facility's needs (United States of America)

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for a range of aircraft ground handling services, including ramp operations, baggage handling, cabin cleaning, ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance, and customer service functions, to support airlines effectively.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all HHS rules and regulations in the workplace.
• Unload and upload passenger baggage, cargo, and/or mail from aircraft bins onto bag carts.
• Prepare aircraft cabins between flights, replenishing necessary supplies for lavatories and galleys, and servicing aircraft lavatories.
• Tow aircraft to remote areas as needed, ensure availability of necessary ground equipment in the ramp area and backroom for upcoming flights, guide inbound aircraft into the ramp area of the assigned gate, and push outbound aircraft out of the gate area.
• Perform assigned administrative duties on a voluntary basis (e.g., GSE fluid inspections and appearance, FOD walks, washing equipment and removing trash from ramp area).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Report / MVR (varies by airport).
• Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
• Must be willing to work in all types of elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
