Job summary

NextGen GHS, LLC is seeking a Ramp Agent to join our team at the airport. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting luggage and cargo to and from aircraft, requiring attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers $18.40 per hour for 18 hours per week. If operation finishes early, you will still be paid for 3 hours. A background check and drug screening are required, and teamwork and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all types of weather conditions.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage, cargo, and other items onto and off of aircraft.
• Safely operate ground support equipment such as tugs, tractors, belt loaders, and forklifts.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations while working on the ramp.
• Communicate with pilots, flight crews, and ground personnel to ensure efficient aircraft turnaround.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Report any issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
