Stubblefield Institute is seeking a Rambassador to represent Shepherd University. This role involves giving campus tours to prospective students and their families during weekdays and at major admissions events.
Rambassadors will be trained to confidently showcase the university and help enhance their communication, leadership, and time management skills. Applicants must be full-time students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Being a Rambassador gives you the opportunity to be the first face that prospective students and their families see when visiting Shepherd University. Rambassadors lead weekday campus tours held Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and their presence is also required at major admissions events such as Open Houses and Accepted Student Days. Rambassadors may also represent Shepherd on social media through recruitment features and campus highlights, and they may be assigned office administrative tasks on a case‑by‑case basis.
While Rambassadors are expected to have a strong knowledge of Shepherd University and the surrounding community, all training and resources will be provided to prepare them for their role as an “expert” on the Shepherd experience. This position allows you to build and strengthen skills in communication, leadership, time management, and self-confidence, while serving as a welcoming representative of Shepherd University. The ultimate goal of the Rambassador program is to show prospective students and their families why Shepherd should be their number one choice.
