Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is seeking an experienced, customer-centric Product Manager to oversee the strategy and roadmap of critical initiatives relating to the purchasing experience on RalphLauren.com. This role will be responsible for driving growth, loyalty and innovation via initiating, defining, and managing best-in-class products that encompass customer facing experiences, internal tools, and business intelligence needs. Collaborating with cross-functional global stakeholders across technology and business teams, this role will partner closely to develop optimal customer experience solutions that will propel our business. This position requires great vision, technical depth, communication, and partnership skills. A high degree of comfort in leveraging data to influence decisions is critical as well as a proven track record of driving results via internal and external relationship management. The optimal candidate will be passionate about driving our next generation of customer experiences, and focused on delivering significant, measurable business and customer impacts. This position is located in the NY Metro area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for Ralph Lauren's purchase experience including cart, checkout, shipping and fulfillment capabilities across global markets (NA, EMEA, APAC).
  • Combine a strong understanding of user and business needs with a deep comprehension of technical dependencies to ideate and champion solutions that solve for unique and complex challenges.
  • Guide a global cross-functional team to drive improvements to critial purchase touchpoints such as cart abandonment reduction, checkout flow optimization, delivery date estimation accuracy, payment method integrations and shipping options and fulfillment capabilities.
  • Manage a robust backlog of ideas and define a product roadmap of both foundational and innovative feature sets, executing against specific goals and timelines.
  • Translate roadmap into detailed requirements that provide clarity to complex problems and work with user experience/design, engineering and QA teams to execute and deliver high-quality products.
  • Establish clear objectives and monitor key results against goals in order to define and measure the success of initiatives.
  • Identify and lead efforts to analyze results, creating a feedback loop to continuously learn, improve performance, and discover opportunities for growth.
  • Create insights to guide the strategy and corresponding product roadmap through understanding customer's needs and behaviors, competition and emerging technologies.
  • Develop relationships and partner closely with key business partners to gain strong internal alignment and maintain tight communication around expectations and status.
  • Communicate with executive level stakeholders globally, including leading facilitated discovery and vision sessions, presenting findings and priorities, and negotiating tradeoffs.
  • Understand the complex and shifting ecommerce landscape, consumer trends, and available 3rd party products to apply insights to roadmaps that deliver added value.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Deep experience working on both digital consumer-facing experiences and backend system optimization with proven success in defining and executing successful business strategies.
  • General understanding of fulfillment operations, distribution center workflows, and delivery optimization.
  • Ecommerce and global product management experience required.
  • Strong project management skills managing multiple large projects with agile product management experience.
  • Effective at communicating with and presenting to business partners and executive management while maintaining alignment at all levels.
  • Comfortable in a highly matrixed, iterative development environment and good at balancing collaboration and advocacy.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with bringing definition and structure to ambiguity.
