Bohler's Raleigh, NC office seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) to advance site design projects and permit strategies for diverse developments. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and municipalities to deliver quality outcomes and foster client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of site design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and drainage software, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of site design and jurisdictional permitting experience for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• PE license is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities including scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee preparation of site plan packages—grading, stormwater, utilities, and erosion control.
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
• Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
• Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.
