Job summary

American Horizons Logistics LLC is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local routes around Raleigh/Durham. You will haul Amazon loads using state-of-the-art equipment, with homes nights or every other night and the possibility of overtime or additional shifts.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, ability to pass a DOT physical, and English proficiency to communicate and complete required reports. A clean MVR/DAC, background check, and pre-employment drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public.
• Able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS.
• No current CDL suspension or revocation.

Responsibilities

• Haul Amazon loads with 100% no-touch freight.
• Drive local and regional routes with home time every night or every other night.
• Work full or part-time with potential overtime and additional shifts.

Haul Amazon loads (100% no-touch freight) using state-of-the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology

Drive consistent local and regional routes that get you home every night or every other night.

Work full or part time with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime

Play a key role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place

Must be at least 21 years old

Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)

Must successfully pass DOT physical

Must be able to: speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records

No current CDL suspension or revocation

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC report

Successfully pass a background check

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS
