Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience specializing in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Strong technical mastery of C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC architectures.
• Proven practical experience with relational databases, SQL Server, T-SQL, and Entity Framework Core.
• Solid working knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React).
• Extensive experience with source control systems (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Professional availability for local employment in Raleigh, NC (Local candidates only).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and robust backend APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Build scalable RESTful web services and integrate third-party APIs and microservices.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data encryption standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Perform rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional product owners, UI/UX designers, and QA engineering teams in Raleigh, NC.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and architectural refinement sessions.
• Troubleshoot production defects, analyze server logs, and resolve performance bottlenecks promptly.
• Ensure strict adherence to software engineering best practices, design patterns, and enterprise coding standards.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, API specifications, and system architecture diagrams.
