Job summary

Acuren Inspection is seeking Rope Access Technicians to support our field operations in refinery and industrial sectors. You will oversee rope access activities, supervise crews, and ensure compliance with IRATA standards for safe and efficient work at heights.

Preference given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background; IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification is required, with strong emphasis on safety, rigging, climbing, and rescue procedures.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level I and SPRAT Level I certification required with proficiency in theory, equipment, rigging, climbing and rescue/hauling.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Required certifications for specific projects.
• Must have industrial refinery experience.
• Must have mechanical industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Demonstrate all skills and knowledge required of a Level 1 Rope Access Technician.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.

Job description

Acuren Inspection is looking for a Rope Access Technicians to support our operations. Preference will be given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background. The Rope Access technicians are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician
