Hiring: Director of Performance Marketing

Company: Rain Media

Status: Full-time/W2

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Eligibility: US-Based candidates

Position Overview

We’re looking for a data-driven, results-obsessed Director of Performance Marketing to lead our media buying team and scale new customer acquisition across all paid channels.

You’ll manage a $1.5M–$2M monthly ad budget spanning Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Bing, and AppLovin, with a laser focus on driving profitable growth. Your mission is simple: acquire new customers efficiently and at scale through world-class media buying execution and analytical rigor.

This is a highly visible, leadership-level role reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll build upon a proven system that has already driven 8-figure annual revenue growth, and now needs a dedicated leader to take it to the next level.

What Excellence Looks Like
  • You know your numbers, daily CAC, ROAS, MER, and contribution margin by channel, and act fast when they change.
  • You deliver consistent acquisition growth while protecting profitability and optimizing spend allocation.
  • You lead your team with clarity, urgency, and accountability—removing obstacles and pushing for excellence.
  • You test strategically, scale efficiently, and make data-driven decisions that move the business forward.
  • You treat the ad accounts like your own P&L and operate with ownership, precision, and pace.
About Organics Ocean

We are a premium direct-to-consumer supplement brand helping people live healthier lives through science-backed, clean, and effective products.

  • Lead and mentor a team of in-house and agency media buyers, ensuring clarity, accountability, and operational precision.
  • Develop, document, and enforce best practices for testing, optimization, and scaling across all platforms.
  • Partner closely with leadership to forecast spend, acquisition volume, and growth pacing aligned with company targets.
Channel Optimization & Expansion
  • Expand into new paid channels and geographies, identifying scalable acquisition opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate channel performance, adjusting budgets based on efficiency and marginal ROI.
  • Build a diversified media mix to mitigate platform risk and stabilize acquisition costs.
