Armstrong Collective, the parent company of Rocky Mountaineer and Canyon Spirit, seeks a Mechanical Lead for the Operations and Mechanical team in Denver, CO. This safety-sensitive role involves executing maintenance and operating plans to ensure safe, reliable railway operations and equipment availability.

You will coach technicians, resolve complex issues, read schematics, and maintain compliance with safety and brand standards while supporting continuous improvement in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience with safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Ability to travel regularly and work extended shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment availability and readiness for train movements.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair railcars, locomotives, and facilities.
• Read schematics and maintenance instructions to diagnose issues.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and brand standards.
