Job summary

Faith Technologies is hiring a Railroad Signal Technician to perform daily inspections on highway grade crossing and wayside signaling systems. The role requires travel up to 100% and adherence to FRA regulations.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of railroad signal maintenance experience and be comfortable working nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and self-initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-5 years railroad signal maintenance experience.
• Successful completion of Hot Box and Signal Apprentice Training Program or prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cohesive team with minimal supervision.
• Inspect and maintain grade crossing signal systems and wayside signaling.
• Ensure compliance with FRA, OSHA, and customer safety requirements.
• Perform regular inspections (monthly, quarterly, annual) with supervision as needed.
• Operate heavy equipment to assist with installations.
• Install, program, and calibrate grade crossing equipment and signals.
• Read and interpret railroad timetable documents.
• Adhere to Signals Hours of Service regulations.
