National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) seeks a Railroad Flagger to help keep rail crews safe on the tracks. You will coordinate activities at job sites, communicate with dispatchers and crews, and lead safety briefings before work begins.

The position requires at least 2 years of relevant railroad experience, willingness to travel long periods, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $28 to $37 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with a Class 1 Railroad or equivalent.
• Familiarity with railroad safety rules and MOW operations is preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer tools and mobile devices.
• Willingness to travel extensively for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate activities at the job site.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, train crews, railroad staff, and contractors.
• Lead safety briefings before work begins.
• Follow and enforce all railroad, state, and federal rules.
• Ensure contractors meet training requirements.
• Spot and address any rule violations.
• Complete daily reports on work activities.
• Maintain on-track safety following federal regulations.
