Watco Transloading is hiring for an on-site Conductor/Switchman position. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour.

The role involves controlling and coordinating train movements to load and unload railcars safely across yards, plants, or terminals while training and developing in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities include reading orders, coordinating crews, using radios/signals, and maintaining detailed records.

Qualificações

• Reads, writes, and understands English; basic math.
• Must pass required trainings and certifications for the role.
• Demonstrates predictable attendance and reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Control and coordinate train movements while switching railcars.
• Follow directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of train crews.
• Notify engineer of switching orders and move cars to locations in yard.
• Communicate switching information via radio and signals.
• Maintain records of cars switched (origin/destination/cargo).
• Assist with switching operations and set hand brakes as needed.
