Job summary

National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. The CIC ensures work within railroad rights-of-way is performed safely and in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a railroad company, preferably in maintenance of way or TY&E.
• Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
• Ability for long-term travel assignments, including multi-month deployments.
• Successful completion of required federal, client, and company training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee worksite safety and provide flagging services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FRA regulations (49 CFR 214).
• Monitor track conditions and coordinate train movements with dispatchers.
• Document daily activities and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Enforce railroad, state, and federal policies.
