Iron Horse is seeking an experienced Tank Car Welder/Railcar Repair Technician in Beaumont, TX. The role involves a mix of welding, torch cutting, mechanical repair, fabrication, and general railcar repair tasks on a fast-paced team.

The ideal candidate will have FCAW/MIG welding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read weld symbols. Shift options include Day and Evening with a $1.00/hour differential for evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience welding FCAW and/or MIG/GMAW in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read weld symbols.
• Experience using oxy-fuel torch cutting and grinders.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCAW and MIG welding on tank cars and rail equipment.
• Execute torch cutting and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Repair and fabricate steel components per drawings and specs.
• Inspect welds and ensure safety, quality, and documentation.
