Railcar Repair Mechanic
Orange, TX

PSC Group is hiring a full-time Railcar Repair Technician to work safely around heavy equipment, railcars, and railroad tracks to coordinate and complete railcar repairs. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends if needed.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Interpret work orders and follow blueprints/schematics for repairs
  • Use basic mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge
  • Notify materials/equipment needs to complete tasks
  • Follow safety rules, keep work area clean, and comply with safety policies
  • Meet AAR, ARS, and customer quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available
  • May require a valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card depending on location
  • Must be 18 or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Pass drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Military experience and ability to follow procedures are a plus
