Job summary

Job duties include interpreting work orders, following blueprints, welding, and ensuring QA standards are met. On-the-job training is available; a valid driver’s license or TWIC may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• Previous military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Weld, cut and gouge using basic mechanical skills and tools.
• Notify of materials and/or equipment required to complete tasks.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area per EHS policies.
• Ensure compliance with AAR, ARS and customer quality standards.
• Complete any other duties to finish the task.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs
• Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge
• Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks
• Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task

Job Qualifications:

• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
