Job summary

You will inspect, operate, and maintain rail equipment, assist with switching, loading, and unloading, and ensure compliance with safety regulations in daily yard and line-side work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Office/clerical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rail weight regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks on scale and enter data.
• Collect cash/checks and coordinate with haulers.
• Generate bills of sale, dray tickets, and bills of lading.
• Inspect equipment and operate rail switches.
• Travel with train; perform start/stop and safety checks.
• Maintain rail equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
