Loadstar is hiring for a Railcar Off Loader in Oklahoma to safely unload liquid hazardous materials from railcars and trucks while adhering to company and customer procedures.

Key duties include monitoring meters and HMI, regulating flow through pipelines, and conducting required inspections. The role requires OSHA safety compliance, a TWIC card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

  • Must be safety conscious and able to follow OSHA safety standards.
  • Possess a valid TWIC card and driver's license.
  • 18 years of age or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Have reliable transportation to the site.
  • Stable work history with good references.
  • Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor pipeline equipment and HMI systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Regulate product flow through pipelines and caverns per procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of safety protocols and identify unsafe conditions.
  • Follow schedules and perform line-ups for product transfers.
  • Record inspections and daily operations throughout shifts.
  • Adhere to SPCC, LOPs, and site checklists for surveillance and housekeeping.
  • Validate LOTO procedures during maintenance.
  • Document daily activities and relay during shift turnover.
  • Support facility housekeeping and a safe work environment.
  • Perform pre-transfer inspections to ensure equipment is sound.
  • Wear required protective equipment for personal safety.

Job Summary

Railcar Off loaders at this site are responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of liquid hazardous materials out of railcars and trucks while following all company and customer procedures.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitor various pipeline equipment such as meters, process flows, cavern levels, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Regulate product flow through pipelines and storage caverns according to prescribed procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain awareness of safety protocols and actively observe for any abnormal or dangerous situations that could lead to a release or unsafe condition.
  • Follow scheduling orders and conduct pipeline line-ups for the delivery/receipt of products to/from pipelines and storage caverns.
  • Perform required inspections and maintain records throughout the work schedule, including station, wellhead, and pipeline inspections.
  • Adhere to Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan, Local Operations Procedures (LOPs), and site checklists to ensure facility surveillance, security, and general housekeeping.
  • Validate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance activities.
  • Record detailed information on daily operations and relay it during shift turnover, including maintenance activities, transfers, LOTO procedures, etc.
  • Actively support facility housekeeping efforts to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure personnel's safety and environmental protection.
  • Conduct pre-transfer inspections to ensure that all equipment and systems are mechanically sound before initiating product transfer operations.
  • Wear all required protective equipment as necessary to ensure personal safety during operations

Job Qualifications – Candidate must:

  • Must be safety conscious and able to always follow OSHA safety standards
  • Must possess a valid TWIC card and driver's license
  • 18 years of age or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Have a reliable means of transportation to and from work
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

Physical Requirements

  • Fluent in English, including speaking, writing, reading, and listening comprehension, to effectively communicate and understand job-related instructions and information.
  • Capable of occasionally standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms as required by job duties.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, ensuring the capability to handle materials and equipment as needed.
  • Possess good vision to perform tasks safely and accurately, including reading documents, observing surroundings, and operating equipment.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full Time
  • Hourly - Non-Exempt
