Xanterra Travel Collection's Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel is seeking a Train Carman Operator to perform mechanical inspections, maintenance, and safe operation of railway equipment. You will inspect and service railcars, operate specialized vehicles, and support daily operations with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Arizona) and compliance with company vehicle policy.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on railroad equipment.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (pump truck, genie lift, forklift, etc.).
• Fill freshwater tanks and drain wastewater using a pump truck.
• Report maintenance needs promptly and ensure safety of passengers and staff.
• Operate track switches/derails and monitor track conditions.
• Adhere to safety, mission, and core values of Xanterra/GCR.
