Job summary

TTX Company in Portland, Oregon is seeking a supervisor responsible for safe and efficient car inspection and repair at an FMO location. You will oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities include training employees in railcar inspection, maintaining productive operations, controlling location expenses, and serving as the liaison to host railroad, AAR and FRA. Prior experience and an AA degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to supervise and train staff in inspection and repair of railcars.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe performance of duties by employees in accordance with Safety Policies.
• Instruct and train employees in the proper inspection and repair of railcars in compliance with standards.
• Foster positive employee relations and ensure conformance to HR policies.
• Maintain efficient operation in line with company goals.
• Control expenses related to location operations and labor distribution.
• Serve as local liaison to host railroad, AAR and FRA.
