Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Rail Loader to perform hands-on work that keeps the global supply chain moving. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment handling railcars, loading and unloading vehicles, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work at heights, and prior rail or mechanical experience. You’ll join a global company known for safety, training, and opportunities to grow within a market-leading shipping and logistics group.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail/ mechanical work required or preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare railcars for shipment and manage doors, bridge plates, and chocks.
• Load and unload vehicles onto railcars per quality standards.
• Ensure proper spacing and secure vehicles on outbound railcars.
• Maintain buck loader ramps, door tracks, and other moving parts; inspect bridge plates monthly.
