Job summary
Road & Rail Services is seeking Railcar Loaders for our fertilizer terminal in Mulberry and Bone Valley, Florida. This full-time role offers a rotating swing schedule (days & nights) and on-site outdoor work near rail equipment.
No prior railroad experience is required as hands-on training is provided. Responsibilities include monitoring fertilizer transfers into railcars, ensuring correct loading, and performing quality checks.
Qualifications
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
- Able to climb ladders and access loading platforms.
- Willing to learn new equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the transfer of bulk fertilizer products into railcars.
- Observe material flow to ensure proper loading.
- Confirm correct product is loaded into the railcar.
- Monitor load quantities and help prevent incorrect or incomplete loads.
- Perform product and quality checks to prevent contamination.
- Use remote-controlled equipment to assist with railcar positioning.
- Communicate with team members during loading operations.
- Complete required loading, inspection, and production documentation.
