Job summary

Qualdoc in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Railroad Field Supervisor to oversee crews performing railcar repairs, derailment recovery, load adjustment and transfer, and track maintenance or construction.

This role blends field leadership with hands-on operations. The Supervisor will coordinate crews, monitor safety, oversee equipment use, and communicate with customers and regulatory personnel to ensure work is completed properly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years railroad industry experience.
• Knowledge of DOT, FRA safety requirements.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver\'s license; Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Experience reading load charts and rigging practices.
• Hands-on field environment capability.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field crew assignments.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce PPE, DOT/FRA procedures.
• Oversee field projects and participate in hands-on work.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and progress.
• Communicate with customers and regulatory agencies.
• Complete payroll, equipment usage, and project reports.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees.
• Prepare project estimates and quotes for labor/equipment/logistics.
• Inspect equipment and ensure readiness for use.
• Support derailment response and track maintenance/construction.
