Job summary

Tactical Cleaning Company is seeking a Field Technician in Danville, IL, to perform railcar cleaning and inspection tasks. You will handle equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and documentation while supporting a team in a field environment.

The role requires physical stamina, comfort with confined spaces, and willingness to travel up to 75% with overtime. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior freight car experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Climb ladders and work in confined spaces; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in adverse weather.
• Willingness to wear PPE including respirators and protection gear.
• Basic computer skills; MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Willingness to undergo Hazwoper/OSHA safety training.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean railcar interiors to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Complete cleaning checklists and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow Health and Safety Program.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and management.
• Assist with setup and operation of diesel cleaning system.
