Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Rail and Transit Engineering Intern to join our New York, NY office. The role involves assisting with planning, design, and production of engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads for R&T and other infrastructure projects.

The internship offers hands-on data collection, field observations, and support for cross-functional project management activities, with mentorship and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in a global engineering

Qualifications

• No experience is generally required for Associate's or Bachelor's degree candidates in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
• Perform data acquisition and analysis, including collection of field data and routine calculations.
• Participate in field observations and construction-related activities, including documentation and QC data collection.
• Support project management and cross-functional workflows, tracking deliverables and assisting with day-to-day operations.
